Verplanck Man Arrested For Failing To Show Up In Court
He voluntarily surrendered to the Yorktown police.

VERPLANCK, NY — A 32-year-old Verplanck man was arrested by Yorktown Police Thursday for failure to appear in court.
Christopher Sheppard voluntarily surrendered to the Yorktown Police Department in regards to a bench warrant relating to an underlying charge of misdemeanor petit larceny.
He was brought to the Yorktown Justice Court and arraigned.

Sheppard was sent to the Westchester County Jail on $1,500 bail or $2,500 bond.
His next appearance in Yorktown Justice Court Feb. 28.
