Yorktown Police Arrest Ossining Man For Menacing With A Pistol

The incident was discovered while investigating another assault.

YORKTOWN, NY — An Ossining resident was arrested for allegedly pointing what looked like a pistol at another person. Yorktown Police said Jorge Andres Carangui, 21, of Eastern Avenue in Ossining, was charged with second-degree menacing, a misdemeanor.

While investigating a previous assault, police found that a menacing incident had also allegedly occurred around 10 p.m. April 28.

Carangui allegedly displayed and pointed what appeared to be a pistol at the victim, which made the person afraid of being physically injured.

Carangui was arrested and was arraigned in the Yorktown Town Court. He was released on $250 bail and is schedule to reappear in court May 16.
