Yorktown Police Blotter: Domestic Dispute; Marijuana; Larceny

April 30: Police were called to a domestic dispute on Ridge Street. Police allege a 55-year-old Yorktown resident struck a 45-yaer-old woman in the head and took her cell phone when she attempted to call police. Marko Nikprolevic is due back in town court May 7.
May 1: Police were called about a disorderly group of youths in the woods near Wells Street at about 7:47 p.m. A 16-year-old was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.
May 5: A Yorktown man was charged with petty larceny after he took something from a local property without the owner’s permission and refused to return it. Garvin Okipi, 24, is due in town court May 12.

May 5: A Peekskill woman wanted since 2002 for failure to appear in Yorktown town court to answer a petty larceny charge turned herself in May 5. Silvia P. Alvarez collected an extra charge of failure to appear. She was released on $400 bail and is due back in court June 2.
