Yorktown Police Blotter: Grand Theft Auto, Revoked, Suspended Licenses, DWI

Here are some of the recent incidents reported by the department.


May 12: Robert M. Ramos, of Sleepy Hollow, is due in Yorktown town court June 11 to answer a charge of third-degree aggregated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Police were called to a suspicious incident involving a white Toyota and, after investigation, allege that Ramos was driving with a revoked license.

May 10: Frank Cozzi, 24, of Gomer Street, is due in Yorktown town court June 11 to answer charges of driving while intoxicated and failure to maintain lane. He was stopped at 3:10 a.m. May 10 on Ridge Street. His blood alcohol level was more than .8 percent, police said.

May 8: Thomas Spydale, 41, of Mahopac, was charged with grand larceny, a felony, in connection with the theft of an automobile.

May 8: David Eichler, 30, of Croton-on-Hudson, is due in court June 9 to answer charges of aggregated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and following too closely. He was involved in an accident on Route 134.
