Yorktown Police Blotter: Shoplifting, Failure to Appear in Court

Here are four of the incidents handled by the Yorktown police Dec. 16-21.

Dec. 21: Vasiliki Roumeliotis, 64, of Mahopac, is due in town court Jan. 22 to answer a petty larceny charge. Police allege he stole two North Face jackets valued at $398 from Macy’s in the Jefferson Valley Mall.

Dec. 19: A 17-year-old Peekskill resident whose name is being withheld because she is eligible for youthful offender status was charged with petty larceny after Sears security alleged she left the store without paying for items worth $49.50. She is due in town court Jan. 22.

Dec. 18: Daryl D. Rushing, 34, of Yorktown Heights was arrested on a bench warrant for failure to appear in court on charges of aggravated DWI and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. He was sent to Westchester County Jail without bail and is due in town court Jan. 8.

Dec. 16: Lynn Doxey, 48, of Yorktown Heights, faces charges of petty larceny and endangering the welfare of a child. Police allege Doxey took a pair of Dr. Scholl’s insoles from the CVS without paying. She had her child with her. She is due in town court Jan. 20.
