Yorktown Police Department: Yorktown Citizens Veterans Day Parade - TRAFFIC ADVISORY

Chief Robert Noble of the Yorktown Police Department advises motorists that on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at 2:00 PM the Yorktown Citizens Veterans Day Committee will be commemorating Veterans Day with a parade and ceremony. The parade will begin at Lakeland High School and continue on East Main Street to the Lakeland Administration Building grounds, where there will be a ceremony at the Shrub Oak Veterans Monument. To provide for safety of parade participants and spectators the following roadways will be closed temporarily to accommodate this event: 

• East Main Street from the Lakeland High School to Sunnyside Street
• Stoney Street at East Main Street 
• Stonegate Road at East Main Street
• New Road (east end) at East Main Street
• Dane Street at East Main Street

• Frost Road at East Main Street
