Yorktown Police Say 18-year-old Stole Gift Cards from a Party

A Putnam Valley resident was charged Nov. 7 with petty larceny connected to an Oct. 19 incident at the Winery at St. George.

Police say the 18-year-old took gift cards during a party and later redeemed them at the Cortlandt Town Center.

He was at Cortlandt Town Court on a related issue Nov. 7 when he was taken into custody on this misdemeanor charge, police said.

He was released without bail and is due in Yorktown Town Court Dec. 19.

His name was withheld because he is eligible for Youthful Offender status, police said.
