YORKTOWN, NY — Yorktown school district voters will have to decide whether to approve a $98.2 million budget for 2019-20 on May 21. That represents a 0.25 percent increase over the 2018-19 spending plan, or $245,000, district officials said.

The estimated tax rate increases are as follows:

In addition to the budget, voters will be asked to approve a capital projects proposition in the amount of $4 million. If approved, it will be transferred from the buildings and facilities improvements capital reserve fund to the capital fund.
