Yorktown, Somers Election 2017 Results

Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 7.

YORKTOWN, NY — Voters in Yorktown and Somers went to the polls Tuesday, Nov. 7 for the General Election. There were a number of races to be decided, including a state Supreme Court justice and the next Westchester county executive. Also, there are state proposals and locals races that were decided.

All results are unofficial.

Westchester County Legislator District 1 (Cortlandt, Peekskill, Yorktown)
Incumbent John G. Testa (R, C, I, REF) won over Nancy S. Vann (D, WEP).

Westchester County Legislator District 2 (Bedford, Lewisboro, Mount Kisco, North Salem, Pound Ridge, Somers)
Kitley S Covill (D, WEP, WF) beat incumbent Francis Corcoran Jr. (R, C, I, REF).

Westchester County Legislator District 4 (New Castle, Somers, Yorktown)
Incumbent Michael B Kaplowitz (D) ran unopposed.

Somers Supervisor
Incumbent Rick Morrissey is running unopposed.

Somers Town Council (choose two)
Incumbents Anthony J Cirieco (R, C, I) and William Faulkner (R, C, I) were the top two vote getters. Robert S. Ondrovic (D) and Thomas Newman Jr. (D) were also on the ballot.

Somers Receiver of Taxes
Incumbent Michele A McKearney is running unopposed.

Yorktown Supervisor
Incumbent Michael Grace (R, C, I, REF) appears to have lost to challenger Ilan D. Gilbert (D, WF). Gilbert received 5,449 votes to Grace's 5,173.

Yorktown Town Council (choose two)
The top two vote getters were Alice E Roker (D, I, WF) and Vishnubhai Patel (D, WF). Also on the ballot were Rob Puff (R, C, REF) and Gregory M Bernard (R, C, I, REF).

Yorktown Highway Superintendent
Incumbent David D Paganelli is running unopposed.

Yorktown Town Justice
incumbent Salvatore Lagonia(R, C, I, REF) won over Aviah J Cohen Pierson (D, WF). The vote count was 5,858 to 4,658.
