Yorktown, Somers Elections 2019: Candidates, Voting Info

YORKTOWN, NY — Election Day is Nov. 5, though, for the first time ever, Yorktown and Somers residents will have had nine days to try out early voting, which started Oct. 26. Because there are some contested races, both regional and local, it's important to get to the polls.

In Westchester, there are contested races for county and family court judges as well as some county legislators.

There are contested races down the ballot in Yorktown, including a challenge to the incumbent Supervisor Ilan Gilbert, a Democrat, by Republican Matt Slater.

There is still time to take advantage of early voting, which continues through Sunday. In Westchester, each community has an assigned polling place. Go here for times and locations.

On Election Day, you can vote in your regular polling location from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. To find your polling place for Tuesday, visit the Westchester County Board of Elections website.
