Yorktown, Somers Residents Name 'Go-to' Takeout Places

YORKTOWN, NY — We aren't judging, but it seems that Yorktown and Somers residents really like their takeout. Patch put out a call on Facebook asking what your "go-to" takeout restaurant is and you answered.

The places most often mentioned were Oscar's in Yorktown Heights and Bob-B-Q's in Shrub Oak.

There were two establishments noted for their $25 meals: Little Sorrento in Yorktown Heights and Somers Super Deli and Catering in Lincolndale. The latter is offering Chicken Pizzaiola with Rigatoni for Thursday's $25 meal deal.

For Asian food lovers, Golden House in Jefferson Valley and Wild Fusion and Asian Cuisine in Mohegan Lake made the cut.

Francesca's Pizza and Pasta in Shrub Oak and Nonna's Pizzeria and Oscar's in Yorktown Heights were also mentioned as faves.

There was even a hybrid choice, one where you could shop for groceries and still take advantage of the hot food bar if you found yourself at the end of a tiring day: Turco's in Yorktown Heights.
