Yorktown Stops Con Edison Gas Pipeline Replacement Project

The energy provided said the work should be wrapped up by the end of November.

YORKTOWN, NY — The Town of Yorktown has issued a stop-work order for a gas pipeline replaced project. Supervisor Michael Grace asked Con Edison to stop working on the intersection of Gomer Street and Homestead Road because a number of issues have arisen.

The town is seeking new regulations to make sure the work is done properly, in a timely fashion and will as little interference to the area’s residents as possible, FIOS1 News said. Con Edison said the work will hopefully be completed by the end of November.
