Yorktown Woman Charged With Assault By Using Golf Club, Fist
Police said the woman also threatened the man with a knife.

YORKTOWN, NY — A Yorktown woman faces an assault charge for allegedly hitting a man with a golf club and more. Yorktown Police said Nuala Anne O’Connor, 59, of Saw Mill River Road in Yorktown, was charged with second-degree assault, a felony, and second-degree menacing, a misdemeanor.
Police said they received a call around 10:08 p.m. Jan. 6 about a domestic incident at a Town of Yorktown home.
After an investigation, police said O’Connor struck a man with her closed fist, a golf club and a metal guitar stand, causing bruising and swelling on his face and body.

O’Connor also menaced the man by holding a steak knife in a threatening manner and by poking his legs causing bruising.
She was placed under arrest and arraigned by a judge who released her on her own recognizance and issued a temporary order of protection on behalf of the victim.

O’Connor is due to appear in Yorktown Town Court Jan. 9.
