Yorktown's Chilly First Week of Spring Forecast

SOMERS, NY — Today is the first day of spring but it’s really not going to feel like spring at least over the next week or so. The good news is there is no snow in the 5-day forecast — winter's revenge continues and we’ll see plenty of days in the 30s and 40s as daytime highs.

It’s only Monday but the first spring weekend of 2017 looks to be a rainy one, at least for now according to the National Weather Service.

Wednesday night will the coldest night of the week in the Hudson Valley with temps dropping all the way back into the teens. The day time highs on Wednesday and Thursday won’t even crack 40 degrees.

Mostly cloudy. A slight chance of rain after midnight. Not as cool with lows in the upper 30s. Northwest winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain in the morning... Then partly sunny in the afternoon. Highs in the mid 50s. Northwest winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 30 percent.

Wednesday
Sunny. Much colder with highs in the mid 30s. Northwest winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.
