Yorktown's Weekend Weather: Bundle Up
Hudson Valley Weather sees Punxsutawney Phil's daring prediction begin to play out on Super Bowl weekend around Somers.

SOMERS, NY — Super Bowl weekend starts out old and blustery, with a few snow flurries possible.
"With roughly 6 more weeks until the 1st day of spring, we think Phil’s bold and risky proposition might just pan out," said Bill Potter of Hudson Valley Weather. "It sure will feel like winter on Friday."
Some parts of the region may even see snow flurries Sunday, but it won’t stick and won’t affect your Super Bowl plans.

However, it's going to be cold at night, even on Sunday, when temps will moderate a little. Lows in the teens Friday night, and in the 20s on Saturday and Sunday nights — and the wind chill will make it feel colder for sure. Make sure you're dressed right if you go out for pizza or to party.
