YSBA Announces 'Put your ALL into Shopping Small' Program

Shop the Hamlets (Crompond, Jefferson Valley, Mohegan Lake, Shrub Oak, and Yorktown Heights)

The Yorktown Small Business Association is happy to announce its ’Put your ALL into Shopping Small’ Program.

Did you know that every $100 spent at a local small business returns $68 to the local economy? That same $100 spent at a national or regional chain returns just $43, according to www.IndependentWeStand.org.

A kickoff will be held in front of town hall at 9 a.m. Saturday (American Express Small Business Saturday). The program will run until New Year’s Day.

The program is a way of saying thank you to Local Small Businesses for all you do in our community. It is also a way of our businesses to say thank you to their customers.

Special offers and promotions are being offered by many of the participating businesses and all will be offering free raffle tickets to those who patronize their business. Look for the GREEN Balloons and GREEN Balloon posters for participating businesses.

A Grand Prize of $500 cash, merchandise and gift certificates from various participating businesses worth thousands of dollars will be raffled off on New Year’s Day. You must patronize the participating businesses in order to qualify for the free raffle tickets. Requirements for free raffle tickets are set and provided by each participating business.

The YSBA is offering this program at no cost to all Yorktown Local Small Businesses. Businesses wishing to participate, all you have to do is contact (Yorktownsba@optonline.net 914-874-4347 Bob Giordano) and request the package.
