On Friday, May 15, guests are invited to celebrate the grand re-opening of the Dunkin’ located at 781 Biltmore Avenue in Asheville, NC, with a chance to receive Free Coffee for a Year if they are among the first 200 guests in line beginning at 8:00 a.m. From 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., attendees can enjoy a festive celebration featuring a live DJ, giveaways, and appearances by Dunkin’s mascot, Cuppy.
At 9:00 a.m., the celebration will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony with local community members to mark the restaurant’s reopening following Hurricane Helene and its transformation into a full-service Dunkin’ location. The event is free and open to the public—no tickets required!

CRISTINA VANE More than a mere practitioner of her craft, Cristina Vane has a breadth and depth of serious musical skill compiled from countless miles across all kinds of geography. On her third studio album ‘Hear My Call,’ the pairing of a lifetime pursuit and growing treasure trove of songs makes for a record that demands to be heard.
Based in Nashville, Tennessee, her sound reflects and amalgam of experiences; born at the foothills of the alps in Italy and raised between Italy, England and France, Cristina’s half American – half Guatemalan heritage is as unique as her sound. She unapologetically blends her rock roots with her passion for pre war blues, old time banjo, country and bluegrass. Since her time busking on the Venice Beach Boardwalk and working at McCabe’s guitar shop, this deft multi instrumentalist has sharpened her fingerstyle/ slide guitar and clawhammer banjo skills and merged it with crystalline vocals, captivating songwriting, and an entrancing stage presence to make for a truly exciting act. Cristina has an extensive touring history and has provided direct support for: Molly Tuttle, Bob Weir, Jerry Douglas, Wynonna Judd, Sam Bush, Nikki Lane, Town Mountain, Duane Betts Rev. Peyton’s Big Damn Band, Arlo McKinley, and Willi Carlisle. She has been mentioned in Rolling Stone Country and NPR, and was featured in the Bank of America ad for Ken Burns’ “Country Music” documentary. Lotcho Zeo, a band with 5 high schoolers (Junior-Senior). Our band started as Lotcho trio with Keaton Will and Sean, and we have recently welcomed Zoey and Theo to the group. Zoey is a senior at Asheville High, and he plays the guitar. He lives for playing with other musicians and is so excited to join such a talented group. Theo is a senior at TC Roberson High who plays the French horn and bass guitar. He has a strong passion for music and loves collaborating with others. William is a senior at Asheville High School and is a multi-instrumentalist playing piano, saxophone, and bassoon; he plays piano/keyboard in this group. Keaton is a senior at Asheville High School who plays the drum kit in our group + every other percussion instrument. Sean is a high school junior at Asheville High School and plays the saxophone, and has been for 5 years. FREDDIE McCLENDON Freddie McClendon is a singer-songwriter from Greenwood, South Carolina. He first fell in love with music as a child living in a retirement home where his dad worked, spending his earliest years dressing up as Elvis and performing for the residents who encouraged him to perform. After his father’s shocking murder in 2023, McClendon turned to writing songs as a way to process his grief.
In 2024 he released Present Memories. In 2025 he appeared on Season 23 of American Idol, performing his original song “You Never Loved Him,” which moved Carrie Underwood to tears and prompted Luke Bryan to call him “the next Paul Simon.”
McClendon’s songwriting often blends personal history with observations about the South, most notably in his viral single King Henry, which challenges the “Good Ole Boys” system and generational corruption in South Carolina. His live shows have grown steadily, selling out in numerous markets across the southeast.
His unreleased tracks “Drinkin’ Crimes,” “Rambler,” and “Lover” have already drawn millions of views ahead of their official release, and he plans to release new music throughout 2026. If you’ve ever collected small, perfectly smooth pebbles and wondered what to do with them, this 1-day workshop is the perfect solution! Using diamond encrusted drill bits, students will drill through these materials and then fabricate sterling silver wire and sheet to create stunning jewelry which may include pendants, earrings, rings and bracelets.
Students will also learn about the soldering process, bezel and prong setting and a small amount of forging.
