A teen-aged boy pointed a handgun at the 9-year-old boy's stomach and demanded cash from the lemonade stand.

MONROE, NC — Business at an organic lemonade stand in a Charlotte suburb turned sour Saturday afternoon when the 9-year-old boy running the concession stand at the entrance to his neighborhood was held up by a teenage boy who pressed a handgun to his stomach and demanded money.
The thief got away with less than $20 in cash, according to reports.
Deputies with the Union County sheriff’s office responded to the St. John’s Forest neighborhood in Monroe, North Carolina shortly after the 3 p.m. incident on Aug. 4.

According to the sheriff’s department, the boy was approached by a teenage boy wearing a camouflage hat and black T-shirt. “The suspect allegedly stuck a black handgun to the boy’s stomach, demanded money and fled the scene on foot,” the sheriff’s department said in a statement on social media.
Deputies later found a camouflage hat, a black colored BB gun and the stolen metal tin along a trail in nearby woods, and believe the suspect left a bicycle there before walking to the lemonade stand.

The incident didn’t keep the young entrepreneur down for long, according to WSOC. Neighbors told the station the boy was back pitching his lemonade Sunday, but had relocated to the neighborhood pool.
According to Fox 46, the boy has set up the lemonade stand regularly in order to buy a new lawn mower for his other entrepreneurial endeavor. He also mows lawns to earn money.
