Miguel's Mexican Restaurant faces uncertain future as longtime west Charlotte landmark (qcnews.com) — A beloved west Charlotte staple, Miguel's Mexican Restaurant along I-85, is facing an uncertain future after its property was sold in a larger real estate deal, with a hotel possibly planned for the site. The family-run spot remains open for now, as loyal customers and owner Miguel Morado hope it can either stay put or find an affordable new Charlotte location.
   

4. Parent of Charlotte secret peeping victim speaks out (wccbcharlotte.com) — Parents in Charlotte are speaking out after police arrested a man accused of secretly recording under teen girls' skirts at the Target in Blakeney Town Center on Sunday. Officers say store security spotted the suspect, who now faces secret peeping and indecent liberties charges and is being held in Mecklenburg County jail on a $100,000 bond.
