An Uber driver left home to pick up a client Saturday night but hasn't been seen since. CMPD now says he may be in "grave danger."

CHARLOTTE, NC -- Homicide detectives have taken over a search for an Uber driver who went missing Saturday night after he left his home to pick up a client, and now say they believe he may be in “grave danger.”

Marlo Johnis Medina-Chevez, 44, left his home in the 6900 block of Ayrshire Glen Place Saturday night around 9:45 p.m. to pick up a client, but never returned, his wife told police Sunday morning. “Mr. Medina-Chevez’s friends and family have not heard from or seen him and they are extremely concerned,” a CMPD statement said Sunday evening.

Medina-Chevez was driving a 2008 dark blue Nissan Pathfinder with North Carolina tag PDV-4382. He is described as a Hispanic male with black hair and black eyes. He was last seen wearing a grey short sleeve shirt, jeans and sandals.
