Carolina Panthers Sack Offensive Tackle Michael Oher After Failed Physical
The Carolina Panthers cut offensive tackle Michael Oher Thursday after he failed a physical following a concussion last season.

CHARLOTTE, NC -- The Carolina Panthers have released offensive tackle Michael Oher Thursday afternoon after he failed a physical. following a concussion in September 2016.
He suffered a concussion in September 2016, and finished up last year’s season as injured reserved status. Following the breaking news of his release July 20, Oher tweeted, “The Brain is a scary thing. You have to be careful with it.”

News of Oher’s cut from the team comes the same week the the Panthers sacked its general manager, Dave Gattleman.
