Elementary School Locked Down After Suspect Runs From Police: Report
Charlotte's Allenbrook Elementary School locked down Thursday after a suspect ran from police, according to a local news report.
CHARLOTTE, NC -- Charlotte’s Allenbrook Elementary School was briefly locked down after a suspect wanted for robbery charges ran from police, according to a local news report.
The school, located in the 1400 block of Allenbrook Drive in west Charlotte, locked down Thursday morning, WBTV reported.
According to WSOC, police were serving warrants on a suspect wanted for robbery when he bolted from the scene.
