Disabled Grandmother Attacked Again, Two Weeks After Sex Assault
Two weeks ago, a 63-year-old grandmother was sexually assaulted in her Charlotte home. Last night, the suspect attacked her again.

CHARLOTTE, NC -- A disabled 63-year-old grandmother was attacked early Thursday morning by the same man who, two weeks ago, sexually assaulted her in her home, according to reports.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department detectives said the attack occurred around 6:30 a.m. Nov. 1, and that the suspect was the same man responsible for a similar attack on the same victim in November, WSOC reported.
The scenario is similar to one the victim confronted Nov. 16, when a man broke into her apartment and sexually assaulted her. That attack occurred shortly before 1 a.m. at her home in the Tanglewood Apartments complex in the 4500 block of Wynbrook Way. The victim called 911 and told responded officers that she woke up when the suspect attempted to sexually assault her. She fought with the attacker and he fled her apartment on foot, she told police.

In the first attack, the suspect “forced her clothes off and tried to get her to perform sex acts until she found the strength to fight back,” the victim told WSOC last month.
The suspect is described by Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police as a black male, about six-foot tall, between 20-25 years old, with a thin build.
