DAVIDSON, NC — Labor Day marks the end of the summer for most of America but around Davidson and Cornelius, it's just another reason to get outside, enjoy the weather, take in some live music and fire up the grill one more time. There will be plenty of fun events to check out around the Lake Norman area.
Here are five events to check out near Davidson and Cornelius this Labor Day weekend:
- Midlife Crisis at Galway Hooker — Friday, Aug. 31, 9:30 p.m. Galway Hooker Irish Pub, 17044 Kenton Dr., Cornelius.
- Labor Day Weekend at On The Roxx — Friday, Aug. 31, 9 p.m. On The Roxx, 19712 One Norman Blvd., Cornelius.
- Labor Day Celebration — Saturday, Sept. 1, 5 p.m. - 10 p.m., Queens Landing Marina, 1459 River Highway, Mooresville.
- Concert on the Green: Sidecar Social Club — Sunday, Sept. 2, 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. Davidson Village Green, Main Street, Davidson
- Iredell County Agricultural Fair 2018 — Friday, Aug. 31 - Saturday, Sept. 8. Iredell County Fairgrounds, Troutman.
