Iredell County Agricultural Fair 2018: Schedule, Events

TROUTMAN, NC — The Iredell County Agricultural Fair kicks off in Statesville Friday, just in time for the long Labor Day weekend.

This year, the fair will run from Friday, Aug. 31 through Saturday, Sept. 8 at the Iredell County Fairgrounds located at 630 N. Main Street in Troutman. This year marks the 83rd anniversary of the annual event that promotes local agriculture and youth involvement in it.

ADMISSION:

• General Admission — $ 5.00
• Children 6 Years Old and Under Free

• Thursday, Sept. 6— Senior Citizens Night. Seniors 60 and over get in free
• Thursday, Sept. 6 — Veterans Night Thursday. All veterans get in free with military ID
• Tuesday, Sept. 4 - Thursday, Sept. 6 — all K-12 students get in for $1

RIDE PRICES

• Unlimited ride wristbands may be purchased for $25 Aug. 31 - Sept. 2; Sept. 8.

SCHEDULE:

• Gates open at 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 1 - Monday, Sept. 3 (Labor Day), and Saturday Sept. 8
• All other days (Sept. 2 - Sept. 7), gates open at 5 p.m.
