Romano’s Macaroni Grill Shuts Doors In South Charlotte

The Italian eatery in south Charlotte has closed up shop, leaving a remaining location open in University City.

CHARLOTTE, NC -- South Charlotte’s Romano’s Macaroni Grill has closed it’s location at Promenade on Providence in south Charlotte with no plans to reopen, according to the Charlotte Observer. The restaurant closed last month after 15 years at the shopping center location, the newspaper said.

The Houston-based chain, which also has a University City location, has also recently closed locations in Louisiana and Alabama.
