CHARLOTTE, NC -- Now that Thanksgiving is done (and most of the leftovers cleared out) it’s time to get serious about the holidays, and β€” more specifically β€” holiday lights. The glitz and sparkle of one of the region’s largest Christmas light displays has returned to the Charlotte Motor Speedway.

The 9th annual Speedway Christmas light show is underway in Concord and this year features more than 3.5 million lights spread out over a nearly 4-mile course, as well as a Christmas Village, a Bethlehem village, a 50-foot ferris wheel, movies, a petting zoo, photos with Santa and more.

Speedway Christmas is open every night from through Monday, Dec. 31, and will be closed Christmas Day. The hours are 6 p.m. through 10 p.m.
