A Charlotte woman has been charged for running an illegal daycare after an infant's death in October. Here's how to check your daycare.

CHARLOTTE, NC -- A Charlotte woman has been charged for running an illegal daycare following the death of a 2-month-old infant in October. The case is a reminder that parents should verify daycare licensing, CMPD said.
Aqunietta White, 53, was formerly charged July 12 CMPD for operating an illegal daycare, following the suffocation death of infant Chase London in October of last year, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police announced Wednesday.
On the morning of Oct. 20, 2016, CMPD officers responded to 5809 Green Street and found the infant unresponsive. He was later pronounced dead at Carolinas Medical Center University.
