7 Arrested For Driving Under The Influence In Cornelius: Police

Cornelius Police made 16 arrests last week for charges including drug possession, carrying a concealed gun and larceny.

CORNELIUS, NC — Seven individuals were arrested for driving while under the influence in Cornelius last week, according to Cornelius Police.

Arrests were also made on charges including larceny, trespassing, drug possession and carrying a concealed weapon, CPD said.

Two cases of larceny and one case of fraud were also reported last week.

CPD issued 58 citations this past week, including 35 for speed-related offenses, three citations for failing to wear a seatbelt, five for expired registration card/tag and one for improper lane change.
