• Linda Irine Handy Hopkins (theenterprise.net) — A local family with close ties to Cana is mourning the passing of 80-year-old Linda Irine Handy Hopkins of Meadows of Dan, whose relatives include a brother-in-law living in Cana. Services are set for Thursday, September 24, at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart, followed by burial at Russell Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery and a luncheon at the church.
