Alert: Gas Leak Shuts Down Street In Cornelius
Mulberry Street was blocked to traffic Thursday afternoon due to concern there was a possible natural gas leak in the area, police said.
CORNELIUS, NC — Fear of a possible natural gas leak in Cornelius Thursday afternoon prompted the closure of Mulberry Street and a parking lot entrance near Food Lion, Cornelius Police Department said.
CPD and the fire department are on the scene and drivers should avoid the area, CPD said.
