Annual Christmas Parade This Weekend

The 37th annual North Mecklenburg Christmas Parade will be held this Saturday, December 7 - rain or shine. The parade will impact access to Hwy 115 through Cornelius and other nearby streets between approximately 12:30 - 4:00 p.m.

The parade route will begin on Main St. at Griffith St. in Davidson and will continue south on Hwy 115 through Cornelius, ending at Hickory St. and Hwy 115.Additionally, Catawba Ave. will be closed from Oak St. to Hwy 115, and tractor trailers will not be permitted east of Hwy 21 after 12:15 p.m. on Saturday.

The Antiquity neighborhood will also be impacted with road closures at the Catawba Ave. entrance. Hickory St. and South St. will remain open for residents to access the community.

The parade will begin at 1:00 p.m., and all are invited and welcome to attend. Bring your friends, family and neighbors out for this long-running tradition!
