Arrests For Bad Check, DWI: Cornelius Police Blotter

A 40-year-old man was arrested and charged with writing a worthless check, and two were charged with DWI, according to Cornelius police.

CORNELIUS, NC — Cornelius police made five arrests last week, with charges ranging from driving with a revoked license and driving while impaired to writing a worthless check, according to the police department's blotter.

Two vehicles were reportedly broken into, four cases of property damage were reported, as well as a case of larceny on Old Statesville Road.

Cornelius officers also issued 66 citations last week, including 17 tickets for speeding, eight seatbelt violations, seven for expired tags and one ticket for resisting a public officer.
