Arrests For Drug Possession, Assault On A Female In Cornelius
Cornelius Police recently made five arrests, including one man charged with assaulting a female and felony possession of drugs.

CORNELIUS, NC — The Cornelius Police Department made five arrests last week including one for assaulting a female causing injury to personal property, as well as possession of narcotics and drug paraphernalia, according to the town’s police blotter released Wednesday.
Cornelius Police are also actively investigating a report of property damage at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church and breaking and entering at Mama’s Pizza Express.
During the reporting period between April 11 - April 17, 2018, CPD also issued tickets for a variety of driving violations, from speeding to failing to yield to pedestrians. It also issued seven tickets for expired tags and one ticket for a handicap parking violation.
