Auto Break-In Suspects Sought In Cornelius: Police

The suspects are wanted in a vehicle break-in case on West Catawba Avenue, Cornelius Police Department said Wednesday.

CORNELIUS, NC — The Cornelius Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying suspects it says are wanted in connection to a vehicle breaking and entering on West Catawba Avenue Tuesday morning.

The Jan. 15 incident occurred around 8:20 a.m. at Raw Fitness, located at 18047 West Catawba Avenue, CPD said in a statement Wednesday.

“The suspects broke the window of a vehicle to gain entry and removed valuables from the vehicle. The suspects then used the victim’s credit card(s) to purchase gift cards at CVS and Publix in Cornelius,” CPD said.

According to CPD, the suspects were driving a white four-door Chevrolet Colorado truck that is registered to a car rental company.
