Boat Show, Revolutionary War Reenactment: Weekend In Lake Norman
This weekend there's plenty to do around Lake Norman, from the Mid-Atlantic boat show to a reenactment of the Battle of Cowan's Ford.

CORNELIUS, NC — This weekend, there’s plenty going on around Lake Norman, from the Mid-Atlantic Boat Show in Mooresville to a Revolutionary War reenactment of the battle of Cowan’s Ford in Huntersville. If you’re looking for something adventurous, try your hand at finding treasure with a pirate map at Latta Plantation, enjoy Irish drinking songs in a pub. And to wrap up the weekend, D9 Brewing is offering a brunch to pair up with rolling out its new wild sour Michelada Gose.
There’s even more to look forward to this weekend, too. The rain is expected to move out of the region by Friday morning, leading into three days of sunny skies and mild temperatures in the high 40s and low 50s, according to the National Weather Service.
