Breaking And Entering, Felony Assault: Cornelius Blotter

Cornelius police made arrests for charges ranging from driving while intoxicated to breaking and entering and assault with intent to kill.

CORNELIUS, NC — Cornelius police made seven arrests last week, with charges ranging from assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill to breaking and entering and felony larceny, according to the police department’s blotter.

Seven cases of larceny were reported, as were vehicle break-ins in the 20000 block of Catawba Avenue and the 10000 block of Danesway Lane.

Cornelius officers also issued 100 citations last week, including 56 tickets for speeding, eight tickets for seatbelt violations and two for failing to update address with the Department of Motor Vehicles, according to the blotter.
