Breaking And Entering, Larceny Arrest In Cornelius: CPD Blotter

Recent police records show there were also three larcenies reported in Cornelius last week. Here's where they occurred, according to CPD.

CORNELIUS, NC — A 20-year-old man was arrested and charged with breaking and entering in Cornelius last week, according to the most recent police blotter.

Brendan Murphy McGlynn, 20, was also charged with larceny after breaking and entering, CPD records show. Three additional larcenies were reported to police last week at locations including the Circle K on West Catawba Avenue, as well as the 11000 block of Heritage Green Drive and the 19000 block of One Norman Boulevard.

McGlynn was one of six people arrested in Cornelius last week. Other charges included driving while impaired, possession of stolen goods, and possession of a weapon of mass destruction.

Cornelius officers issued 50 citations last week, including 21 for failing to stop for a stop sign or flashing red light, and 18 for speeding-related offenses.
