The Lake Norman Philharmonic (LKN PHIL) returns to perform at the Liberty Park Amphitheater on Friday, October 2, 2026, at 7:00 p.m.
In collaboration with the Town of Mooresville, the LKN PHIL is returning to Liberty Park on October 2, at 7:00 p.m. to help celebrate America’s 250th anniversary at Symphony Under the Stars. Admission to the event is FREE for the public.
Conducted by Maestro Eduardo Cedeño, the Lake Norman Philharmonic will feature a specially selected program of classical, patriotic, and contemporary works. The Iredell County Composite Squadron Color Guard of Civil Air Patrol North Carolina Wing Group 162 will present the colors for the event.
The LKN Phil will perform several patriotic music selections, including pieces such as Fanfare 250, Flight of Valor, and Into the Storm. We are very excited to introduce Soprano Lydia Grace Goldie, from Lexington, Kentucky. Lydia is the first-place winner of the 2026 Heafner/Williams Vocal Competition in Lincolnton. She will perform God Bless America and a selection from The Sound of Music. The Langtree Charter Academy Upper School Choir and soloist Clara Krebs will perform I Dreamed a Dream with the orchestra. Guest conductors Dave Ellis and Charity Olds will each lead patriotic selections familiar to audiences.
