To the class of 2020,

Despite it all: YOU MADE IT! We celebrate your hard work, dedication, and perseverance, especially amid crisis.

We echo the words of business magnate Bill Gates in his message to all 2020 graduates:

"Graduation is about more than walking across the stage to collect a diploma... It marks the beginning of the next phase of your life, which is something worth celebrating even in these difficult times."

And we want to celebrate with you! We invite all seniors and graduates who live in and around Cornelius to stop by our Town square (beside the Cornelius Town Hall) and take a picture with the sign erected in your honor! Post your photos on social media, and be sure to tag us (@townofcornelius).

We also invite you to add your personal sign next to the banner, and let’s create a field of signs honoring our grads!
