Cornelius Citizens Academy Dates Set For Fall: How To Apply
Do you want to know more about how the Town of Cornelius operates? Here's how to apply to the Cornelius Citizens Academy course.
CORNELIUS, NC — Residents of Cornelius who want to learn more about town services and facilities will soon have an opportunity to do just that. The 11-week Cornelius Citizens Academy course is set to begin Sept. 3, and applications are now being accepted.
Residents may apply for the free course either by mail or in person. The application may be found here.

The Cornelius Police Department will now be accepting applications for the Fall 2019 Citizens Academy. The Fall class will be held on Tuesdays beginning September 3rd through November 12th, with the exception of one Saturday class. All classes will be held at the Cornelius Police Department from 6:00pm - 9:00pm.
The purpose of the Cornelius Police Citizens Academy is to enhance communications between the public and law enforcement personnel. The Academy will provide citizens with specific opportunities to participate in day to day police operations; thus helping to build support from the public and stronger police-citizen partnerships.

- Cannot miss more than 3 classes
