Cornelius Police Crack Down On Speeding Over The Holiday: Blotter
Cornelius police issued 18 speeding citations last week and made two arrests, according to the police blotter.

CORNELIUS, NC — Cornelius police cracked down on speeding over the holiday, issuing 18 tickets. Officers also made two arrests this past week, one of which included a woman who was charged with child abuse, according to the most recent police blotter.
Cornelius officers issued 50 citations last week, including two for underage drinking, six for marijuana possession, five for driving without a license, and two for failure to wear a seatbelt.
One case of a vehicle breaking and entering was reported on Holiday Lane, CPD said.
