Cornelius Police Make Felony Arrest For Cocaine
Cornelius Police Department recently made five arrests, including one man charged driving under the influence and leaving the scene.

CORNELIUS, NC — The Cornelius Police Department made five arrests recently including two on drug charges and one for driving while impaired. Officers also issued 39 citations, according to the most recent police blotter.
Cornelius Police are also actively investigating at least two vehicle breaking and enterings, two cases of reported fraud and two cases of larceny, including a report of larceny at Harris Teeter on Catawba Avenue.
Heather Smith Fulbright, 35, was arrested April 5 and charged with multiple counts of drug possession. Samir Jusseff Alhay, 47, was arrested April 9 and charged with driving while impaired, along with hit and run and leaving the scene after causing property damage. Joseph Truman Sherrill, 20, was charged with felony possession of cocaine and misdemeanor possession of marijuana.

During the reporting period between April 4 - April 10, 2018, CPD also issued eight speeding tickets, three tickets to for not wearing a seatbelt, and four citations for driving with a revoked license.
