Cornelius Police Search For Suspect Who Entered Home
A man entered a Cornelius apartment last week through an unlocked back door, forcing the residents to run in fear.

CORNELIUS, NC -- An unknown suspect walked into an occupied apartment through an unlocked backdoor in Cornelius last week, and now police are asking for the public’s help in identifying him.
The Dec. 7 incident occurred around 3:15 p.m. when the unknown white male in his mid to late 30s with a trimmed beard and wearing blue jeans, a black hoodie and black hat walked into the the apartment located in the 18000 block of Ruffner Drive. The residents, who fled the apartment in fear, told Cornelius police he did not steal anything.
The next day, one of the victims saw the subject near Westmoreland Road and Cadman Court in Cornelius, however, police officers who responded were not able to locate him.
