Cornelius Police Seeking Suspect In Identity Theft Case

CORNELIUS, NC — Cornelius Police Department is asking for the public's help locating a suspect they say is wanted in an identity theft case.

Wood Steven Staco, 31, was identified as the suspect and is wanted by CPD for Identity Theft and Obtaining Property by False Pretenses, CPD said.

CPD said that anyone with information about Staco's whereabouts is asked to call CPD at 704-892-7773 or North Mecklenburg Crimestoppers at 704-896-7867.
