CORNELIUS, NC — Atrium Health is conducting coronavirus screening and testing in Cornelius and throughout the Charlotte metro this week.

In Cornelius, a screening and testing event is set for Wednesday, June 24 from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Smithville Park, located at 19710 S. Ferry Street.

According to Atrium Health, no appointment is needed for the COVID-19 screening.

Screening and testing will be conducted on a walk-in basis for anyone who has the following symptoms:

  • Fever
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath
  • Chills
  • Repeated shaking with chills
  • Muscle pain
  • Headache
  • Sore throat
  • Loss of taste and/or smell

No identification is needed for screening or testing, and Atrium Health said it does not share anyone's immigration status or report if a patient is undocumented.

  • Friday, June 26 — St. James Catholic Church, 139 Manor Avenue SW, Concord, 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.
