CORNELIUS, NC — Cornelius is celebrating Earth Day with Earth Jam 2019, set for Saturday, April 27 in Robbins Park.

Here’s what the Town of Cornelius says about the Earth Jam 2019 event:

"Cornelius PARC is pleased to partner with title sponsor Heartwood Tree Service, LLC and community partner Lake Norman Wildlife Conservationists - LNWC as we celebrate Earth Jam 2019 at Robbins Park, 17738 West Catawba Ave.

"Participants of all ages will enjoy free "green" activities including arts & crafts, tree planting demonstrations, nature walks, bluegrass music, picnic baskets from local farm-to-table FORK Restaurant, and more!

"We will have local businesses showcasing their environmentally friendly products and services. We encourage everyone to stop by the event and learn about areas in your life where you can make changes that will be better for you and your community."

Fork is also offering a “Picnic To Go,” for the event. “Just call FORK at 704.655.7465 between the hours of 2-5 p.m. to place your order. Deadline for ordering is April 23,” the Town of Cornelius tweeted.
