Hooked On Cornelius Fishing Event Registration Underway

CORNELIUS, NC — Registration is underway for the 2019 Hooked on Cornelius fishing event at Robbins Park next month, according to town officials.

The family-friendly event for children ages 7 through 12 will run from 10 a.m. until noon on Saturday, Oct. 19. While the event is free, pre-registration is required, organizers say.

Here’s what the Town of Cornelius says about the event:
“We are partnering with Lake Norman Wildlife Conservationists for this year's fall edition of our free fishing event! Parents/guardians are encouraged to participate with their children. Fishing rods will be available for participant use during the event.

“Registration is required and space is limited. Please call us at 704-892-6031 x160 with any questions or to register over the phone - or you can register online.”
