Kidnapping, Protective Order Violations: 2 Arrests In Cornelius

There were four vehicle break-ins and one vehicle stolen in Cornelius this past week. Here's a roundup of crime around town.

CORNELIUS, NC — Cornelius police arrested two men in separate incidents last week and booked them on charges ranging from making threats, attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon, kidnapping and violating a domestic violence protective order, according to the most recent police blotter.

Four vehicle break-ins were reported around town and one vehicle was reported stolen on Statesville Road, police said.

CPD issued 7 citations this past week, including three for speed-related offenses, one for failure to stop for a stop-steady red light and one for failing to carry a valid driver's license.
