Larcenies, Rash Of Thefts From Vehicles In Cornelius Last Week

A 17-year-old was recently arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and a handgun, according to Cornelius Police.

CORNELIUS, NC — Cornelius police arrested a 17-year-old man and charged him with possession of marijuana and a handgun, according to the most recent police blotter. The arrest was one of four made last week in Cornelius, police said.

Six larcenies and six cases of breaking and entering of a vehicle were also reported, CPD said.

CPD issued 57 citations last week, including 21 for speed-related offenses, nine for expired registration or tags and four for failing to wear a seatbelt.
